June 2008: After a nationwide search for the premier outdoor recreational development, producers for the DIY (Do It Yourself) Network have chosen Montana's Meriwether Ranch and Locati Architects for a new series called the “Ultimate Sportsman's Lodge.” The ten month building process will be featured; groundbreaking for the Lodge slated to commence in August. The show will begin airing July of 2009 and will continue airing throughout 2010. DIY Network is part of the Scripps family of networks that include HGTV, Food, Fine Living, Great American Country and is one of America's fastest growing networks. This is the second year in a row that Locati Architects' residential work has been awarded this prestigious recognition. The National Association of Home Builders in affiliation with Professional Builder magazine solicits submittals from international architects in efforts to recognize and celebrate outstanding residential architecture focusing on contextual appropriateness, design excellence and livability. MAY 2006: “Locati Architects is pleased to announce, that in recognition for outstanding design work, the 2006 Gold Nugget Awards will present a Merit Award for Best Custom Home: 5,000 – 10,000 square feet to Locati’s applauded work on a private residence in the Yellowstone Club, Big Sky, MT. The Gold Nugget Awards will be presented on Thursday, June 22, 2006 at the 43rd Annual Gold Nugget Awards Gala in San Francisco, CA. An annual event of the Pacific Coast Builder’s Conference (PCBC) and co-sponsored by Builder magazine and Estates West Magazine, the Gold Nugget Awards program honors creative achievements in architectural design and land use planning for residential, commercial and industrial projects."
