Inspired by vision and place, Kyle is dedicated to exceeding the trust of our clients, creating unique designs they didn’t realize were possible. Embodying our professional philosophy of creativity, quality and service, he brings technological savvy and an artistic eye to each project.

A Montana native, Kyle earned a Masters of Architecture from Montana State University in 1994, with an emphasis in design and computer visualization. After graduating with the Henry J. Adams award at the top of his class, Kyle joined the staff of Locati Architects as an intern architect and the office CAD manager. Since that time, recent advances such as connectivity with clients through the Internet, computer visualization, and 3D modeling have all been incorporated into Locati Architects with Kyle’s assistance, keeping the company at the forefront of technology.

Kyle is dedicated to exceeding the dreams entrusted to the team at Locati Architects. Focusing on the clients, he interprets their visions to create their dreams. The design process requires excellent communication skills and Kyle ensures that his clients are kept current on the most recent developments in their projects.

Our firm’s foremost goal is to bring the best possible experience to our clients, from initial meeting, to selecting a contractor, to building a house, our focus remains on the client,” he says.

Kyle has designed numerous high-end residences and commercial projects in the Gallatin Valley and Big Sky area. Such projects have won national and international acclaim including: Montana AIA Honor Award, Ella J. Sears Historical Preservation Award, Builder Magazine’s ‘Gold Nugget’ award in 2005, and (2) Best in American Living Awards for Best One-of-a-Kind Spec Built Home over 4,000 square feet, also in 2005. His specific architectural responsibilities include preliminary design, design development, contract documents, construction administration, and information technology oversight.

“Inspiration comes from the beautiful sites and locales where we work. It comes from the dreams and visions of our clients and what they entrust us to create.”
