With 18 years in the field as a contractor Colby’s ability to connect on the job site and in the office is an asset to the Locati Architects team. Inspired by the form and function of vernacular structures on ranches throughout the West, he brings an appreciation for craftsmanship and pragmatism to every project. Personable and forward thinking, Colby is the link between architects, contractors and clients.

Always ready for fun, Colby is a skier searching for the never-ending perfect line. He also coaches his sons’ soccer or baseball teams and passionately tracks the elusive rainbow and brown trout with a fly rod, unless he’s golfing, of course.
