Nick Van Antwerp

Project Architect

Nick believes great architecture is formed around a central guiding concept, whether that be a mountain view, material, or the morning light. He prides himself on understanding and interpreting that central idea for Locati clients down to the smallest details of their homes.

Before moving to Montana, Nick worked in Chicago on a range of projects, including mixed-use buildings, custom homes, and urban remodels. Nick received his master’s degree in Architecture from Illinois Instate of Technology in Chicago and studied at the Barcelona Valles School of Architecture. He currently serves as a guest juror for the MSU School of Architecture. When away from his desk, Nick rarely sits still. He enjoys ski-touring, fly-fishing, and adventuring in the West. Nick also takes to the ocean whenever he can, sailing as a coach and regatta racer.
